Jalebi are one of the best Indian street food items I’ve tried so far.
They’re made from a fermented flour batter, which is fried and soaked in a scented syrup with saffron.
They’re crispy, cheap and delicious. It’s hard to stop eating them once you start!
Where can I try Jalebi?
You can find Jalebi at Indian sweet shops but they're pre-made and cannot match a freshly made one.
You can book one of Indian specialist chefs who can cook them freshly for you here.
