The benefits

Hiring a private chef means you can have a meal in the comfort of your own home, with a chef that comes to your house taking care of all the shopping, cooking & cleaning up after. This means everyone is free to enjoy the event without the burden falling onto any one person.

Not being able to relax would make the whole experience fairly redundant, so at Yuzu Private Dining, we ensure that all our chefs are properly vetted. That's why we've set out the following minimum requirements for all of our chefs to meet;

Our minimum requirements

  • A valid, clean DBS check

  • 5 years of Professional Chef experience

  • 2 Years of Michelin Star experience, at Chef de Partie level of above

  • Level 2 Food Hygiene Award

  • Professional private chefs

Whether you're hosting a dinner party, catering for a wedding reception or canapes, you can feel assured that our professional private chefs & wedding caterers are properly vetted, professional people who you can feel comfortable having in your home or holiday let.

Many larger companies & competitors have minimal vetting procedures in place, so you should always check if they have a safety policy in place.
